Compact directional antenna

Description

Remotely position your KIT-Y antenna to achieve better coverage of your 2.4 GHz networks. This antenna does not require a ground plane to function properly. Unlike whip antennas, you can separate it from your equipment’s chassis and place it wherever is most convenient for you. This way, you can overcome obstacles such as buildings or corners, or simply raise it on a mast to gain a better direct line of sight or separate it from sources of RF noise.

It is a directional antenna, so it can help you improve the signal-to-noise ratio of your transmission in critical situations.
It has a very practical and lightweight design, easy to store and transport. It is also made of a highly durable and weather-resistant material.

TIP

The signal loss generated by cable extensions in 2.4GHz signals is very noticeable. To avoid losing signal when remotely positioning your antenna, we recommend using very low-loss 50 Ohm cables, such as LMR 240 in their flexible version for on-set use or LMR 400 for fixed installations. You can also compensate for the loss generated by cable extensions by using 2.4GHz amplifiers.
